Dedicated harness with 13-pin trailer hitch socket for a BYD (Seal U, Sealion 7) cars which have a factory connector (so-called ‘preparation’). The kit includes the accessories needed for installation. The kit does not require a separate module.

Some "additional" functions (i.e. other than lighting of trailer/bike rack) require vehicle settings/configuration.

NOTE: The latest model years (from 2026 - including after-facelift versions), the manufacturer has restricted the electronic equipment, including the support of signals in this factory-fitted connector. Although the cars are fitted with this connector, it is ‘empty’ (without signals) – with no option for ‘activation’. In this situation, Quasar Electronics isn't responsible for don't operation of this harness.

Possible solution is to use a dedicated MP2S-CAN harness – see the catalogue.
