The ITS-G8-DEMO-01 module was designed to verify or demonstrate the operation of trailer lighting or a hitch-mounted bike rack. It supports both incandescent and LED lamps correctly.

The module works by sequentially activating individual outputs in the trailer socket. The operation of trailer lighting is simulated in various operating conditions: daytime driving (without position/tail lights), night driving (with position/tail lights) and maneuvering (several outputs simultaneously).

Thanks to the use of strong neodymium magnets, the module can be easily placed on a metal angle bracket or metal frame - and used, for example, for presentation purposes as a lighting controller for a demonstrated bicycle rack or trailer.

The module is powered from an external 12V source via typical cigarette lighter plug.
